DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO LOOK AT GOWNS?

Yes, appointments are required to look for bridal, bridesmaids, mother of.  An appointment ensures we are available to assist you while you shop but also ensures that the person who did book an appointment gets the space and consultant to themselves- uninterrupted.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL APPOINTMENT?

Bridal appointments are typically 1.5 hours to allow you enough time to try on a variety of wedding gowns. Our Mother of & Bridesmaids appointments are typically scheduled for an hour. If you would like more time to try on gowns or have a larger bridesmaids party consider booking a VIP appointment. (see our services page for details)

SHOULD I GET A BABY SITTER?

Yes! While we understand that you might have little ones that are important to you we suggest you do not bring any young children with you to your appointment. Young children often get bored and can be a distraction during your appointment.

 

WHAT IS YOUR APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY?

When you book your bridal appointment we require a credit card on file for our 24 hour cancellation policy. For appointments not cancelled before the 24 hour window, we do charge a $50 cancellation fee. We ask that if you wish to cancel your appointment, you let us know 24 hours in advance to your scheduled visit. If you feel there are extenuating circumstances that are preventing you from being able to visit and you wish to reschedule, please give us a call!

WHAT IS THE PRICE & SIZE RANGE OF YOUR GOWNS?

Bridal

Our Bridal collection ranges in price from $1200-$3000+ and our samples range in size from 12-24.

For Bridal Gown purchases, we require half as the deposit at the time of purchase, and the remainder is to be paid within 30 days of your gowns arrival to our store or when you come try it on. 

 

Mother of the Wedding

Our Mother of Bride/Groom dresses range in price from $350-$1000+ and our samples range in size from 10-22.

For Mother of Bride/Groom purchases, we require half as the deposit at the time of purchase, and the remainder is to be paid within 30 days of the gowns arrival to our store or when you come try it on. 

 

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaid dresses range in price from $175-$300+ and our samples range in size from 12-18.

For bridesmaids purchases, we require half as the deposit at the time of purchase, and the remainder is to be paid within 30 days of the gowns arrival to our store or when you come try it on. 

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY BRIDAL GOWN?

Bridal gowns take 6-9 months to produce, since it is being made to order. When you factor in shipping and alterations, it could be an 11 month total process. We suggest deciding on a dress 12-10 months prior to your wedding date, so you have time built in for fittings and accessorizing. There are rush options & priority gowns for weddings under 6 months, but rush fees could apply.

Mother of and bridesmaids take 4-5 month to produce. We suggest ordering 6-7 months before to allow for alterations. Rushes are available as well for a fee.
 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Take some time to look through websites and pinterest so you have a general idea of what you prefer in a wedding dress. This will help us get started in the selection process, although your consultant may also have some recommendations that you did not consider and you will love. It is helpful to bring undergarments of similar styles that you will wear on your wedding day, including strapless bras or spanx. Also bring heels of a height that you will wear for your wedding so you can get the complete picture when dress shopping.

WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO MY BRIDAL APPOINTMENT?

We recommend that you limit your party to four or less during your visit at Chantilly Place. We are a cozy boutique with limited seating and we have found that the opinions of a trusted few always make for an easier decision for you. If you feel you need more people then four we recommend booking a VIP appointment

WILL I NEED ALTERATIONS?

We like to order the dress as close to your current size as possible, but all gowns need alterations to give it a perfect fit for your wedding day. We offer on site alterations so we'll be happy to assist you with any of your alterations needs including complete customization or a complete remake of a gown. If you'd prefer you can take your gown elsewhere to be altered if distance or pricing is an issue for you

DO YOU CARRY BRIDES MAIDS DRESSES?

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES?

We do carry bridesmaids dresses. You can view the current bridesmaids designers we carry on our gowns page. Bridesmaids dresses can take up to 4 months to produce, since it is being made to order. We suggest ordering bridesmaids with at least 6-7 months so you have time for alterations. We are able to order bridesmaids with less than 4 months, but rush fees do apply. 

WHAT IF MY BRIDESMAIDS ARE OUT OF TOWN?

It is important to order all your bridesmaids dresses together so they are cut from the same bolt of fabric. If members of the party order late it is their responsibility to take care of any rush charges that will apply, not the store. With bridesmaids who are out of town, they can call us with their measurements that were take by a professional tailor or local bridal shop and place the order of the phone. Once we receive the dresses we notify the bride and it is the bride or a member of the wedding parties responsibility to pick up and ship the gowns to out of state members.

We carry a huge selection of Mother of the Bride & Groom dresses. You can view the current designers we carry on our gowns page. Mother of dresses can take up to 4-5 months to produce, since they are often being made to order. Some designers carry stock so they are able to be ordered sooner but that depends on the exact gown, size and color. We suggest ordering mother of dresses with at least 5-6 months so you have time for alterations. We are able to order Mother of dresses with less than 4 months, but rush fees may apply.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY DRESS AFTER THE WEDDING?
